The Tebet Eco Park is a urban park in Tebet, South Jakarta. The park has an area of 7,3 hectares along a stretch of the Ciliwung River.
The park was previously known as Tebet Park, and in 2019 it was announced that the park would undergo a revitalisation. The park reopened on April 23, 2022.
The park was redesigned by SIURA Studio. The project won the President*s Design Award Singapore Design Of The Year 2023 for Landscape Design.

Tebet Eco Park photos
I began at the southern end of the park, walking from Cawang Station on the Bogor Commuter Line.
The road to the park crosses the Ciliwung River, and if you look upstream you can see what a typical view of an urban river in Indonesia looks like.
On the downstream side of the road you get a view of the river as it flows through the park.
The regeneration project included removing embankments and restoring parts of the river into a natural wetland environment.
There is a boardwalk that goes through the wetland area.
The park has recreational areas in different zones. There is a dog park, and nearby I saw a cafe proclaiming to be dog friendly.
A walking path through the trees.
The is an information centre in the main pavilion inside the park.
The park is split in two by a road. Rather than interrupt your stroll through the greenery, there is a bridge that connects to two halves of the park.
This is not one of those awful steep pedestrian bridges that are found on major thoroughfares. The Infinity Link Bridge has a gentle gradient that crosses the road.
While it is technically not infinity-shaped, the design makes it a pleasure to cross the road.
Looking down on the river from the bridge is a reminder that the city still has much work to do in rehabilitating the river systems.
The water is grey with black blobs floating through. This is not a river to take your shoes off and cool your feet in.
Some public space by the river.
The park reminded me of some parks in Australia, and the eucalyptus trees made me feel at home.
At the northern end of the park is a old housing development.
Downstream from the park, the Ciliwung River continues its journey through Jakarta. The houses crowded around the river is a more common scene of the waterways of Jakarta.
