Kuantan Skytrain

November 29, 2022 By James Clark Leave a Comment

The Kuantan Skytrain is a proposed urban rail transit system in Kuantan in Pahang State, Malaysia.

The proposal includes three rail lines with a total distance of 54.5 km:

Line 1: Menara Kuantan 188 to KOTASA (approx 12.5 km).
Line 2: Menara Kuantan 188 to Teluk Cempedak (approx 10 km).
Line 3: KOTASA to the future Kuantan International Airport (approx 32 km).

The Kuantan Skytrain Development Project will connect the Kuantan International Airport project and the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project to the city centre.

Kuantan has a population of about 600,000 people, and it’s the largest city on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
