Rempang resident relocation work plan

Batampos – The development of Rempang Island in Batam City, Riau Islands Province (Kepri) as a new industrial area must deal with the residents who live on the island. BP Batam has set a temporary relocation schedule for the Rempang Galang community which will start on September 20 2023.

The locations for temporary relocation include:

• BP Batam Flats

• Batam City Government Flats

• Social Security Flats

• Shophouses and Housing.

After the Rempang Galang community is relocated to a temporary location, BP Batam will carry out land preparation, which will be carried out for 6 months after the appointment of the service provider.

The target for land development is to start on October 1, 2023.
