This guide is a list and map of current and future airports in Indonesia.
Indonesia airports map
[View Google Map of airports in Indonesia.]
Red=International
Blue=Domestic
Yellow=Under construction
The base for this list is the Wikipedia list of airports in Indonesia. The airports are grouped into geographical regions.
This map includes civilian airports in Indonesia. This list doesn’t include small airstrips used by private planes or military-exclusive airports. There may be some airstrips in remote areas that have infrequent commercial flights that are not listed here.
The airports are listed by their official name and not destination. Most airports in Indonesia are named after a national hero or person of note. Unless you are a scholar of Indonesian history, most people will not know these places by their airport name. The city served is next to each airport name (eg Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport is the Banda Aceh airport).
