The Wikipedia list of airports in Brunei includes a helicopter airfield that services offshore oil platforms. Private airfields are not included on the list, so Brunei has one commercial airport.

Brunei has a land mass of 5,270 sq km, which is not small enough to rank on the list of smallest countries by area. Singapore has a total land mass of 730 sq km (which is growing due to land reclamation), but Singapore has two airports. Singapore is heavily urbanised, while Brunei has a population of just under half a million people.
